Our History

2006
The beginning of the adventure
The founding of ALTER SOLUTIONS originated with Louis and Mathieu in a small office in Versailles. The premises quickly outgrew their space, as did the team, capitalising on the exceptional and historic working environment hosted by Versailles.
2011
Our Digital business unit
Our digital activities continued to gather momentum, especially in IT development. The challenges and implications associated with the digital transformation of businesses were on the rise, which is why this business unit was created.
2012
Our Cyber business unit
Aware of the risks arising from this digital transformation and fascinated by defensive security, it was an obvious choice to create this business unit. It quickly gained momentum in France.
2015
A European aspiration...
Our European adventure kicked off with the opening of two subsidiaries: Alter Solutions Portugal, with an office in Lisbon, and Alter Solutions Benelux, with an office in Brussels. At the same time, a Nearshore Development Center was created at our facilities in Portugal.
2017
...that gathered pace
We pursued our European expansion with the inauguration of offices in Düsseldorf, Germany.
2018
Growth in Portugal
To be even more accessible for our customers, we opened a new office in the North of Portugal, in Oporto.
2021
Proud to be Europeans!
This time, we arrived at Warsaw, marking the start of Alter Solutions Polska with Marta Markiel’s team. Also, we set up new offices in Germany!
2022
New offices?
Absolutely! First of all in Spain, with the opening of the new Alter Solutions office in Madrid, but also our first office in the African Continent, in Morocco. What a year!
2022
Part of the act digital group
In 2022 Alter Solutions also became part of act digital Group, a digital consulting company with over 20 years experience, and offices in the USA, Brazil and Serbia.
2023
We have reached Canada!
The beginning of our journey in Canada coincided with the participation of our Head of Cybersecurity, Nabil Diab, in the INCYBER Forum North America 2023.
