Context
  • Pisca Pisca is a website for buying and selling used cars, and it's one of the strategic platforms in the expansion process of the Credibom bank, given that its success in Portugal led to it being exported to other countries, such as France and Morocco.

Challenge

In this project, Alter Solutions’ challenge is to support the development and specification of components and features of the platform, whose main focus is the professional category, that is, car stands.

Currently, the project focuses on services that bring security to the buyer at the time of purchase, such as insurance, direct financing within minutes, delivery of the vehicle at home, as well as car inspection services all over the country.

Additionally, specific developments are made for Credibom partners, that is, stands that have an exclusive credit agreement.

Solution

This project involves the following responsibilities:

  • Carrying out functional tests.
  • Carrying out non-functional tests.
  • Developing and implementing automated tests.
  • Creating user stories for the development of new features.
  • Controlling and managing the knowledge base for the entire platform.

Time and resources

The project is currently underway with an indefinite deadline. The multidisciplinary team involved includes 1 Business Analyst from Alter Solutions.

Results and customer experience

The quality of the components and the clarity of the documentation have led to a reduced number of bugs, good user acceptance, greater product visibility and, consequently, the winning of some awards in Portugal, namely the Five Star Award in 2024, in the Consumer Credit category, and the Consumer Choice Award in 2024, in the Car Finance category.

We were also able to implement and keep the team aligned with Agile concepts, which guarantees better deliveries.
